| The Scovil setup creates a solid background with general all around lighting, or by using a spot light under the glass a graduated background can be achieved. Since the distance from the mineral to the background is large, the background is always out of focus.
The image on the right also as a bit more reflection in the glass surface. This controlled by the lighting and camera angle. |
